50 Cent makes his big Ibiza debut

50 Cent is set to make his Ibiza debut as headliner for the I Want My MTV party.

The multi-platinum selling rapper has stepped in to take the place of Duran Duran, who had to cancel their appearance at Amnesia hotspot on the white isle on August 12, following singer Simon Le Bon's illness.

Mark Ronson, who headlined at the club last month, will be on hand to provide DJ support at the intimate gig.

It's definitely the year of hip-hop on the island this year, following Snoop Dogg's Ibiza debut when he performed for the crowds last month.

Fiddy - whose real name is Curtis Jackson - has been working on his yet-to-be-titled fifth studio album, which is set to be released in November 2011, and a semi-autobiographical novel about bullying entitled Playground, due out in January.
