Adele kicking off 2016 live tour at SSE Arena Belfast
UK and European tour dates announced
Adele is going on tour - and her first stop is Belfast.
Fans of the soulful singer have welcomed her back to the music world with open arms as she made her highly anticipated return.
And now the superstar's Northern Ireland fans will be among the first to say 'Hello' to her in person as she embarks on a UK and European arena tour next year - her first in five years.
The Someone Like You singer will take to the SSE Arena Belfast armed with a catalogue of hits and her new record-breaking album '25', on Monday February 29 and Tuesday March 1, 2016.
It marks Adele's first tour since 2011 which ended prematurely due to the discovery of a haemorrhage on her vocal cord, which required surgery.
And if her current record sales are anything to go by - tickets are expected to sell out within minutes as the Oscar-winning singer's third album sold 737,000 copies in the UK within its first week of release.
It has also sold almost three million copies in the US.
Tour tickets go on general sale on December 4 at 9am from all usual Ticketmaster outlets, venue box office and Adele.com - while members of Adele's website can purchase tickets on December 1.
The UK and Irish leg also includes Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Birmingham.
Adele’s European dates will include Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Herning, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Zurich, Lisbon, Barcelona, Verona, Amsterdam, Paris and Antwerp.
Similarly advance sale tickets for all European dates will be available to members of ADELE.COM in the UK and Europe from 9.00am GMT on Wednesday December 2 at ADELE.COM.
European tickets on General Sale will be available from 9.00am GMT on Friday December 4 with the exception of Barcelona which will go on sale on Thursday December 3 at 9am GMT.
On Adele's website it states that the reselling of tickets "will not be tolerated".
Adele took to Twitter to make the announcement in a fun video which she opened with the now infamous lyrics of her most recent song 'Hello' - which is enjoying its fourth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
She also posted another video of the announcement which featured numerous blunders and outtakes.
She laughed: "Hello, it's me. Oh God, I can't even say that anymore.
"I have been bluffing this whole time and I'm so relieved to finally tell you, that I am of course coming on tour and I can't wait to see all of you there.
"So see you all very, very soon."
