Amy Winehouse has announced her first tour dates since 2008 - and they will be in Brazil.
The 27-year-old singer, who has been keeping out of the limelight following her divorce from jailbird husband Blake Fielder-Civil and her battle against drug addiction, will play four dates in the South American country in January.
A spokesperson for the singer said: "Amy was offered the shows in Brazil and she was keen to go there because she hasn't been to the country before."
The Rehab star will begin her Brazilian tour with three performances at the Summer Soul Festival at the Il Divino Florianopolis on January 8, the Recife Convention Center on January 13 and the Sao Paulo Chacara Do Joquei on January 15.
Amy will also headline a gig at the Rio de Janeiro HSBC Arena on January 11, with Janelle Monae as her supporting act in all of the shows.
Her sets will apparently be predominantly taken from 2006 album Back To Black, but Amy is expected to debut some new material on the tour.
