Singer Bryan Adams has announced he will perform in Dublin next year as part of his Ultimate greatest hits tour - but Belfast has been left out of the line up.

The Canadian star is set to kick off his new set of gigs in the summer of 2018 with a date scheduled for Dublin's 3Arena on May 21.

However despite performing in Belfast in 2016 as part of his Get Up tour it seems the Heaven singer has decided to give the city a miss this time around.

Tickets for his Dublin gig will go on sale from Friday October 20 at 9am from Ticketmaster.

The newly announced UK and Ireland Arena tour will follow the release of Adams' new album Ultimate, which features two brand new tracks plus all the star's hits - including (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started, and Summer of ‘69.

The record marks the singer's fourteenth studio album and will be released next month.
