Calvin Harris among headline acts named for Wireless Festival 2016

Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, J Cole, Kygo and Boy Better Know will headline Wireless Festival 2016.

Wireless - now in its 11th year - is set to return to Finsbury Park in north London for the weekend of July 8-10, with a diverse line-up combining grime, electronic music, pop, R&B and house.

Grammy Award-winning DJ Harris will headline the first night of the festival on the Friday, with other acts including The 1975 and Big Narstie.

The festival will see the return of 2011 headliners Chase & Status, alongside acts including Mobo Award-winning Krept & Konan, Craig David's TS5, and fellow headliner, platinum-selling rapper J Cole.

Chase & Status, consisting of Saul Milton and Will Kennard, said: "We have an epic show lined up for Wireless 2016, which we've been planning in secret for the last couple of months.

"It's an honour to be performing in our home town alongside some of the most exciting names in music and we're looking forward to dropping one of our best sets yet."

Sunday will see headline performances by grime collective Boy Better Know (BBK) - headed up by founders Jme and Skepta - and Norwegian superstar Kygo.

Also performing on Sunday will be English singer-songwriter Jess Glynne, who has repeatedly topped the charts and last year won a Grammy for her single Rather Be.

Other acts already scheduled to perform include US rapper Action Bronson, R&B star Miguel, grime sensation Lady Leshurr, house music star Martin Garrix, and trapsoul artist Bryson Tiller.

F urther acts are still to be announced, with tickets on sale from Friday March 11 at 9am.
