Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and Janelle Monae are set to sing at the 2014 BET Honours.
Smokey Robinson and Tamar Braxton will also feature at this year's ceremony, reported Billboard.
Rapper Ludacris, Scandal actor Joe Morton, Mack Wilds and activist and talk show host Reverend Al Sharpton are among the presenters on the night, with comedian Wayne Brady on hosting duties.
Aretha Franklin, Motown founder Berry Gordy and rapper Ice Cube will receive special honours at the show, which will take place at Washington's Warner Theatre on February 8. American Express chairman and CEO Ken Chenault and visual artist Carrie Mae Weems will also be presented with prizes.
The BET Honours, which celebrate the achievements of African Americans in the US, will premiere on screens Stateside on February 24 before being shown on BET channels around the world on February 28.
Mariah has been working on her 14th album, which is expected to be released in coming months.
