Damage get own reality TV series

Damage are to star in their own reality TV series as they try to make their musical comeback.

Bandmates Jade Jones, Andrez Harriett, Noel Simpson and Rahsaan J Bromfield have reunited after taking part in ITV2's The Big Reunion, minus fifth member Coree Richards.

The reality show has now inspired them to make their own spin-off series.

Jade, who lives with Spice Girl Emma Bunton and their two sons, told The Sun: "It's not just about music for us, there [are] lots of avenue we want to get involved in.

"We've just recently been talking with some production companies to do a documentary of the band.

"It's a music-led documentary - not just solely about us - but there will be other elements involved."

Andrez added: "It's a passion of ours, to give people who don't get a chance to come into this industry a foot up.

"There's a connection between this subject and what we want to do with our documentary. It would be nice to support anybody who's disadvantaged, regardless of their age."

The band - who formed in 1996 and split in 2001 - will be followed by cameras and want the show to give viewers a window into their private lives, and also offer some guidance to people hoping to get into the music industry.

Damage are planning to put out an EP, scheduled for release in June this year, and hope to embark on a UK tour in early 2015.
