Singer Daniel O'Donnell refused to leave his fans in the dark when a power cut hit a live show at the weekend.
O'Donnell was due to perform at the Barton Theatre in Adelaide, Australia at 7pm on Saturday but a power cut that hit the city at 4pm threw the concert plans into chaos.
However, the Kincasslagh, Co Donegal man insisted the fans had to get value for their money and announced the show would go on with or without power.
The 2,000 fans, who paid $89 (£58) for their tickets, were admitted to the theatre using torches. By this time the emergency lights were starting to fail.
But the singer and his band, joined by Mary Duff, took to the torch-lit stage and sang using a handheld megaphone for two hours until a generator was put in place.
