Dappy to face trial over fight
N-Dubz star Dappy will stand trial over a fight at a petrol station which left three men with serious facial injuries, court staff said.
The rapper, 25, appearing under his real name of Dino Contostavlos, denied a charge of affray at Guildford Crown Court in connection with the attack in the early hours of February 28.
The star was arrested on March 12 following the incident on the forecourt of a Shell garage in Woodbridge Road in the Surrey town.
Dappy, who performed in N-Dubz alongside his cousin and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos and Richard "Fazer" Rawson, has recently seen success as a solo artist and recorded with Queen guitarist Brian May.
He appeared at the court with three co-defendants, Kieran Patrick Vassell, 24, of Hammersmith, west London, Kalonji David Stewart, 31, of Harborne, Birmingham, and Alfred James Miller, 27, of Brentford, west London.
All four pleaded not guilty to affray, court staff said.
