Ed Sheeran will keep his scheduled date in Dublin later this year, despite reports he has been asked to perform at the Royal Wedding on the same day.
The Shape of You singer is set to take to the stage at Phoenix Park in the city on Saturday, May 19 as part of string of European tour dates.
This is the same day Prince Harry will exchange vows with Meghan Markle at a ceremony in Windsor Castle, followed by a reception at St George’s Hall.
Rumours have been circulating the Grammy and Brit Award winner had been asked to perform during the couple's wedding, sparking fear among Irish fans who had bought tickets for his Phoenix Park gig.
However a representative for Sheeran's record label, Warner Music, has said the reports are "not true", adding "there is no clash" as "no one has asked them to do the royal wedding", and the singer will be on stage at the Dublin location as planned.
The news comes as Sir Elton John recently cancelled a number of shows in Las Vegas in order to attend the Royal Wedding.
Sheeran will also perform at Phoenix Park on Wednesday, May 16, and Friday, May 18 - meaning his appearance at the Royal Wedding ceremony at 12noon on Saturday, May 19 will be unlikely but not impossible.
The singer will perform at the Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on Wednesday, May 9.
He also has gigs scheduled for Cork and Galway.
