Electric Picnic: It’ll be a Ferry good weekend

Bryan Ferry’s legendary band Roxy Music are set to play their first Irish festival when they headline this year’s Electric Picnic.

Thousands of music fans from Northern Ireland will make the pilgrimage south to Stradbally Hall in Co Laois in September for the seventh annual three-day event.

The boutique-style festival has grown in stature year on year and tickets are expected to sell out quickly when they go on sale this Friday, March 26.

Bristol trip hop legends Massive Attack also return to the picnic, where they played a storming set in 2006.

Electric Picnic takes place from September 3 to 5. Weekend tickets cost £215. There are no single day tickets.
