Example storms to top of charts

Example has stormed to the top of the singles charts with new track Changed The Way You Kiss Me.

The British singer and rapper displaced Pitbull's Give Me Everything, featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, which had three weeks at the top.

Right There by Nicole Scherzinger moved up from 14 to three, while Mr Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan fell from three to four and I Need A Dollar by Aloe Blacc from two to five.

Coldplay's Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall entered the chart, from the Official UK Charts Company, at number six.

Ludovico Einaudi's solo piano piece I Giorni rose from 195 to 32, thanks to BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James playing it every day as the revision track for students taking exams, giving classical music a rare showing in the top 40.

The Arctic Monkeys' fourth studio album, Suck It And See, went straight into the album chart at number one, as Lady Gaga's Born This Way slipped from one to three.

Adele's long run on the chart went on, with her album 21 remaining at number two, and 19 slipping from three to five.

American child star Jackie Evancho came in at number four with Dream With Me.
