Faith Evans in 'drink-drive' arrest
Faith Evans has been arrested after being stopped at a drink-driving checkpoint in the Los Angeles area.
Police said the 37-year-old Grammy Award-winner was arrested on Saturday night near Marina del Rey on suspicion of drink-driving.
The spokesman said Faith was held for a few hours and released on bail on Sunday morning.
Her car was impounded.
The R&B singer is the widow of rapper Christopher Wallace, also known as the Notorious BIG. She won a Grammy in 1998 for the song I'll Be Missing You.
A reality series chronicling Faith's life is reportedly in production, and a new album is scheduled for release in October.
A message left with her agent was not immediately returned.
