Kings Of Leon's Nathan Followill has thanked fans for their get well soon messages after he was injured in a tour bus accident.
The drummer had to be treated for broken ribs after the bus he was travelling on was forced to stop suddenly when a person jumped out in front of it.
Nathan tweeted his fans and said: "Thank you for all of the get well soons. I'm a little banged up but will be back better than ever."
Kings Of Leon, who are on their Mechanical Bull tour, had to postpone their show in New York on Sunday night (August 10) after the incident.
They posted a message on Facebook which said: "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to an accident on their tour bus, Kings of Leon will unfortunately have to postpone tonight's show in Saratoga Springs, NY. The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill.
"Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well.
"The band will postpone the show that was planned for TONIGHT, August 10th, until further notice. Refunds for ticket holders will be available at point of purchase. For up to date information please visit www.kingsofleon.com."
Nathan's bandmate and brother Jared Followill has also tweeted about the accident.
"So sad this a.m.. Bus accident last night. Nathan has broken ribs. This was the most fun tour in a while. We'll be back ASAP. #GetWellNate," he said.
