Former N-Dubz singer Dappy has come under fire for defending the use of the n-word in one of his new songs.
Rapper Lethal Bizzle was among the people who voiced their disdain after Dappy took to social media to defend using the word.
Dappy - whose real name is Costadinos Contostavlos - released new EP, Eros Apollo, on Christmas Day.
The songs include Tarzan 2.75 At It Again, which features a collaboration with former N-Dubz singer and his cousin, Tulisa Contostavlos, Guilty Conscience, Whipped and Tarzan 3.
The debate gained steam overnight as fans expressed their opinions, leading to Dappy's response on social media.
Some fans expressed their outrage, while others defended his comments.
N-Dubz, which consisted of Dappy, Tulisa and their friend Fazer, broke up in 2011 so they could all focus on launching solo careers.
But Dappy has said in various interviews that the group will make a comeback soon.
