Gary Barlow announces UK and Ireland solo tour

Gary Barlow has announced a full UK and Ireland tour following his two critically acclaimed solo shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London last year.

Starting in November the tour includes two hometown Manchester shows and intimate shows at Waterfront in Belfast and Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

Gary said: “I’m really excited about these dates. Playing live is my favourite thing and I haven't played a solo show for over a year now.

"Last year playing two London shows was brilliant, we all had such a good time, so I thought right let's get out and see the rest of the country!”

After 20 years in the business, over 50 million records sold, eight No 1 albums, fourteen No1 singles, seven million concert tickets sold and six Ivor Novello Awards, Gary Barlow is regarded as one of Britain’s most successful singer songwriters.

Gary was awarded an OBE in the birthday honours list in the summer, shortly after organising the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert celebrations.

Performing songs spanning the entirety of his incredible music career, the tour kicks off at Bournemouth’s International Centre on November 13 before taking in Plymouth, Edinburgh, Nottingham, London, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Wolverhampton, Oxford, Liverpool Blackpool, Cardiff and Dublin, finishing up at The Waterfront in Belfast on January 8 next year.

Tickets go on sale on Friday.
