Booties were shaking in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena as global superstar Beyoncé treated her fans to an incredible show.

For song after song and dance step after dance step, the Bootylicious star delivered a mind blowing performance during the first of two sold out concerts in Northern Ireland as part of her global I Am... tour.

I Am... is the singer’s first full-length concert tour since 2007's sold-out ‘Beyoncé Experience’ and premieres live performances of songs from I Am... Sasha Fierce, her latest international number one chart-topping album.

Belfast is the second last stop for the superstar on her European leg of the tour. She will finish off with two nights in Dublin’s O2 arena on Thursday night.

Her exhausting world tour, which is due to finish in August at the Encore Theatre in Las Vegas, has been receiving rave reviews since it kicked off in Croatia on April 26.

With last night’s extravagantly show in Belfast, the glamourous star lived up to those reviews.

Beyoncé burst onto the stage kicking the show off with an energetic version of hit pop anthem Crazy In Love.

The crowd cheered as she launched into a strong version of her 2003 hit Me, Myself and I.

A number of stand out performances followed, including Listen.

And a big sing-along moment ensued when she performed a mega mix of Destiny’s Child’s most popular hits.

But much of the material came from her new album, I am..., with a great version of If I Were a Boy.

The electrifying night was topped off with latest single Halo, which was sung with great passion.
