INXS frontman joins gig line-up
The new Ulster-born frontman of INXS is jetting home next month to play his first solo concert since joining the Australian rock band.
Ciaran Gribbin is one of a host of local artists who has signed up to perform at BBC Radio Ulster's The Great Northern Songbook — 150 Years of the Ulster Hall on Tuesday, May 22 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the iconic music venue.
And Ciaran, who is squeezing the one-off gig in between shows in New Zealand and an Australian tour, says he couldn't pass up on the opportunity to perform at his all-time favourite venue.
Also confirmed for the bill are local rockers And So I Watch You From Afar, Gary Lightbody's current favourite local band RAMS’ Pocket Radio and Barry Lynn of Boxcutter.
