Jackson 'hologram at music awards'
Michael Jackson will apparently appear as a hologram at the Billboard Music Awards.
The late King of Pop will be digitally resurrected for a performance of Slave To The Rhythm, a track from the posthumous Xscape album, reported Showbiz 411.
The site said the 2D or 3D hologram would sing or perform during the awards show in Las Vegas on May 18.
Jackson's hologram has apparently been created by John Textor, the man who made a similar projection of late rapper Tupac Shakur for the 2012 Coachella festival.
It wouldn't be the first time the Billie Jean singer has been reincarnated as a hologram, as an image of the singer is used as part of Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson: One show.
Jackson died in June 2009 as a result of an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol as he prepared to make a live comeback with a string of shows at London's O2 Arena.
