Jessie J welcomes Kylie to Voice
Jessie J has said Kylie Minogue will be a valuable addition to The Voice, because she can offer a new perspective.
The Australian songstress is one of the new judges with Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson on the upcoming third series of the BBC singing show, where they will sit on the panel alongside Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am. Their arrivals follow the exits of Jessie and Danny O'Donoghue.
"I really, really am happy that they've changed it up a bit and there's new people to teach them new things," Jessie told Digital Spy.
"Kylie will be able to teach them things that I couldn't. I think it's really important that it changes," she added.
Jessie - whose real name is Jessica Cornish - stepped down in July with fellow judge Danny, and the show's hosts Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby.
JLS singer Marvin Humes, who will take over presenting duties with Emma Willis, has admitted that Kylie is "getting stuck in" for her new role.
"Kylie's such a great signing. She really is the ultimate popstar. She's a beautiful lady, an inspirational lady and she's a fantastic coach. She's really getting stuck in," he said.
