Avril Lavigne has old-fashioned values when it comes to her taste in men.
The singer, 26, who called it quits with Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley after three years of marriage, posed in a series of racy shots for mens' magazine Maxim.
She told the November edition of the US mag: "I like a classy man, a gentleman who opens the door and gives flowers and always puts the lady first. I'm a little old fashioned like that."
The rocker said of growing up: "I'm older and more comfortable with my femininity. The first time (she did a Maxim shoot) I was about 19 and was very nervous. I was more of a tomboy, I guess."
The singer is ready to release a new album, which she has been working on for two-and-a-half years, which she says "is the first that is not boy bashing".
