Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant to play in Belfast
As one quarter of rock band Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant first performed Stairway To Heaven in public at the Ulster Hall in 1971.
Now, almost 40 years on, the band’s legendary former frontman is to return to Belfast for a rare appearance.
Plant will play the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on Tuesday, November 2, with The Band Of Joy to mark the release of his 10th solo album, also called Band Of Joy.
It was recorded in Tennessee and co-produced by Nashville legend Buddy Miller.
The album is due for release on September 13. Plant and The Band Of Joy completed a tour of the southern states of the United States last month before heading to Ireland and the UK.
Tickets for Plant’s show at the Waterfront Hall go on sale on Friday, August 13, priced from £38.
