Legends old and new gather for Songs to the Siren
The latest in a line of Titanic-themed and inspired concerts graces the flagship centre next week.
A range of local musical talents from across the generations will take to the stage for the Songs To The Siren concert at Titanic Belfast on Tuesday.
Rising Belfast band Cashier No9 will be joined on the bill by Portstewart session legend and former guitarist with Paul McCartney’s Wings, Henry McCullough.
Folk singer Cara Dillon — described by Mojo magazine as having ‘what may well be the world’s most beautiful female voice’ — will also perform.
The critically-acclaimed Wonder Villains, Scottish performance poet Murray Lachlan Young and Bap Kennedy are also on the bill.
Host Peter Curran said he was “truly honoured to build a cultural jukebox” in his home town of Belfast. “Under the banner of Songs To The Siren a unique and diverse line-up of passionate artists will come together in this extraordinary new building.”
Tickets for the event are £20 and are available from www.titanicbelfast.com or by calling 028 9024 6609.
