Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher has announced a 10-date UK tour which will kick off at Belfast's Ulster Hall.

The former Oasis frontman will take to the city centre stage on Monday, October 30.

Tickets are set to go on sale from Friday, September 8 at 10am from the Ulster Hall website.

Following a handful of small gigs and festival appearances in recent months - including a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre in June - this marks the singer's first big solo tour.

His Belfast show will be followed by gigs in Leeds, Glasgow, Plymouth, London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff and Brighton - before a homecoming show in Manchester

The tour will follow the release of his album 'As You Were' on October 6.

Fans who pre-order the album from Gallagher's official site will receive exclusive access to tickets on Ticketmaster from Wednesday September 6, 48 hours earlier than they go on general sale.

It is the singer's first solo record, although since Oasis disbanded in 2009 he has been the lead singer of rock group Beady Eye.
