Louis Tomlinson has announced his new single – saying he wanted to pen something “a little less soppy”.

The former One Direction star, 25, released Just Hold On in December last year.

His new single, Back To You, is described as a romantic and modern love song.

Singer Bebe Rexha and DJ Digital Farm Animals feature on the track, co-written by Tomlinson, “about returning to the one you can’t let go”.

Tomlinson, who recently called himself the “forgettable” one in One Direction, said: “I’m so excited to announce my single Back To You with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals is out on July 21st.
