N-Dubz have been hotly tipped to become the new Black Eyed Peas - boosting their bid to conquer the US.
The north London hip-hop trio revealed to The Sun that top record executive LA Reid - who signed Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, TLC, Usher and Outkast - told them that they were going to be huge in America.
Dappy said: "LA Reid sat me and Tulisa down. We told him what we do by performing for him and he said it was like watching a ping-pong game.
"He was like, 'I get it, I get it. You guys don't need to change s**t - you've got it.' He said we are the new era of the Black Eyed Peas. In two years he said we're going to be bigger than them.
"Fingers crossed, if we can keep out of trouble, if we are humble and grateful, then we can do it."
Dappy, 23, whose girlfriend is expecting their second child, also revealed they are cleaning up their image for the US market.
He said: "The label out there asked how important it was to us being rebellious. They thought it was part of our image. I set them straight, bruv.
"No more bad stuff. We don't need to go clubbing, playing around and girls. This is business - I've got Will.i.am's crown to steal."
