Nadine Coyle cancels upcoming tour including Belfast gig
Nadine Coyle has cancelled a number of upcoming tour dates.
The former Girls Aloud singer announced in February her plans to tour the UK and Ireland to perform the band's greatest hits, as well as her own new music.
This included a show at the Limelight in Belfast on Sunday, May 20.
However the Derry star issued a statement on Monday via promoter MCD's Facebook confirming the tour was cancelled.
It read: "I am so sad to say I’m not able to do the tour at this time.
"I am so sorry and really wish things were different but for many reasons it is not meant to be.
"You deserve the best show possible and with such big venues and very little dates it was becoming impossible to achieve what we had wanted to do.
"Everything is a lesson and this is definitely one for me. Thank you for your continued love and support."
Nadine returned to the music scene late last year with a brand new song Go To Work, which had over 1.1 million streams on Spotify, hitting No.1 on their Viral Chart.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper in February about her planned tour, she said: “I love the Girls Aloud songs and get messages from fans asking to hear them performed live again. So this is giving them what they want.
“This tour is gonna be one big party night out. All the hits the fans love plus the new songs I’ve been working on over the last few years. I literally can’t wait to get out back on the road again.”
