No stress for Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper may be a hellraiser but at least he's healthy.

The 62-year-old shock rocker, whose real name is Vincent Furnier, said he tries to keep himself in check.

"You get rewarded for taking care of your body - I rarely get sick, I've never smoked, I quit drinking 30 years ago," he told the Daily Express.

"I'm not stressed. My family life is great, my economic life is great. Stress will kill you faster than drugs."

Alice has launched a talent search for "freak shows" to support his two Halloween Night Of Fear gigs at London's Roundhouse, but it has proved so popular his official website crashed several times.

"I thought if anywhere has a lot of freaks, it's London," he said.

The heavy metal rocker will judge the best acts at the London Dungeon on August 9.
