Mark Owen has revealed he goes back to his family instead of partying with the band every night during the Take That tour.
The 39-year-old singer - who last year checked into rehab to be treated for drinking problems after he confessed to having an affair - wants to spend as much time as possible with his wife Emma and their two young children.
Mark told Time Out London: "I always thought that the mentality was 'When you go on tour, you go on tour'.
"I've realised it doesn't have to be like that. Life needn't be that one way or another. I don't feel as disconnected from my family now."
The band's Progress Live tour has been a huge success and Mark said he wanted to thanks fans for still supporting the band, who first formed 11 years ago.
He said: "It's a chance to say thank you to 1.8 million people - thank you for sticking by us through the last 20 years."
