Snow Patrol have made a triumphant return to the Belfast stage with a sold out gig at the Ulster Hall.

The band hailed the intimate show as an "incredible night" as they performed a set of their classic hits as well as music from their new album Wildness.

Following the gig, the band posted a picture of the night on to their Instagram account, captioning the image: "Belfast!!! What an incredible night. We love you."

Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson, Johnny McDaid, and Jonny Quinn have returned to the music scene in recent months with the release of their new album.

To mark their first record in six years Snow Patrol announced a number of Irish dates, including shows in Derry, Cork, Galway, Wexford and Dublin.
