Pixie to perform at Super Saturday

Pixie Lott is looking forward to finishing her summer of live performances at Sainsbury's Super Saturday.

The Mama Do singer has been added to the line-up of the family-friendly event taking place on Clapham Common on the September 10 in support of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, along with Sugababes, Nicola Roberts and Olly Murs.

Pixie said: "I am so excited to be performing at Sainsbury's Super Saturday. It will be a great way to round off the summer. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the Paralympics' sports stars in action as well."

The newly-revealed acts will join Chipmunk, Taio Cruz and The Saturdays at the event to help mark the countdown to the Paralympic Games, where the crowds will also be able to try out Paralympic sports.

Chipmunk helped launch the event at Sainsbury's in Pimlico in May, when he revealed he turned down a job on the fish counter at Sainsbury's when he was 16 because he didn't like the hat.

Seb Coe, chair of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, said: "The fact that we are able to mix popular, talented artists alongside Paralympic sport displays and interactive activities is just a fantastic way to engage with new audiences."
