British rapper MIA is rumoured to have split from her fiance.
The Paper Planes singer - who has been at the centre of controversy after she swore and flashed her middle finger during the half-time performance at the Super Bowl last weekend - has parted ways with longtime love Benjamin Bronfman, according to the New York Daily News.
The couple bought a house in Los Angeles in 2009 but a source told the News that MIA, 36, is spending most of her time in the UK, while Bronfman, 29, is in New York with their son Ikhyd, who is nearly three.
The pair have not commented on speculation about the split.
Earlier this week US TV bosses apologised about the incident at the Super Bowl.
MIA was performing with Madonna when she made the gesture and used a swear word.
Viewers saw the screen briefly blur as technicians attempted to cover it up.
A spokesman for NBC, which showed the game, said: "We apologise for the inappropriate gesture that aired during half-time. It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late."
