Rick Astley adds Belfast date to UK tour

Rick Astley has added a date in Belfast to his '50' UK tour where he has added six shows due to phenomenal demand.

The 'Never Gonna Give You Up' singer announced the additional dates which include Belfast and Dublin plus second dates in Manchester and Birmingham.

Astley will play the Belfast Waterfront on Monday March 20, 2017.

It follows a successful year for the singer who had his first number 1 album in 29 years; an original run of shows in April that all sold out immediately to a BBC Radio 2 A list singles ‘Keep Singing’ and ‘Angels On my Side’ which raked in nearly 1.8m views on VEVO and has been streamed over 600,000 times on Spotify.

This was ahead of the release of the Grammy-nominated star's new album 50 on June 10.

Rick Astley said: “The response to the new material has been genuinely overwhelming. I’ve been overjoyed by the way the public have taken the songs of “50” to their hearts. I could not be more excited to share it with my fans everywhere."
