Rockers Depeche Mode announce Dublin concert

Depeche Mode have announced a small number of UK and Ireland dates this autumn, including a show in Dublin.

The English rockers will perform at the 3Arena in the city on Wednesday, November 15.

This will be their first appearance in Ireland since 2013.

Depeche Mode will also perform shows in Manchester, Birmingham and London.

The gig announcements come following the group's homecoming show in front of 68,000 people at London Stadium on Saturday night.

They are currently in the middle of the European leg of their Global Spirit Tour, which has brought the group to sold-out stadiums across Europe since the first show in Stockholm on May 5, with shows continuing through July.

The tour will then move across the Atlantic to North America for 30 shows in August, September and October, including a record-breaking four nights at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, before continuing to stadiums in Latin America in March 2018.

The Global Spirit Tour supports the band’s 14th studio album, Spirit, which was released in March.

Tickets for Depeche Mode live in Dublin go on sale from Friday, June 9 at 9am.
