Sheeran: Sexiest nod is ridiculous
Ed Sheeran has insisted it's "utterly ridiculous" that he was included in a magazine's Sexiest Man Alive list.
The Give Me Love singer was included in US mag People's 2013 roll call of the hottest male celebrities, but admitted he doesn't see himself as a heartthrob.
"One of the reasons I said yes to being in this issue is because it's quite funny. Utterly ridiculous!" said the 22-year-old.
"I don't think anyone sees me as a sex symbol. I don't know who the voting party are for People, but thank you. It's very kind. But I'm sure I'm the only person on this list who has a belly."
The Lego House singer made the list alongside the likes of Chris Pine, David Beckham, Justin Timberlake and Adam Levine, who won the overall title of Sexiest Man Alive.
Ed recently confessed that he thinks most women would rather mother him than bed him.
He told People: "If you speak to most women, they want to take me home and mother me rather than take me to bed. I just have that impression."
