SuBo: I've laid my demons to rest

Susan Boyle has told how she has finally conquered her demons.

The Scottish star, 50, who was admitted to the Priory after finding fame on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, says she now feels "accepted" and able to enjoy her success.

She told The Huffington Post UK: "I finally feel accepted. Accepted by my fans... accepted by my friends, family and neighbours. In truth I feel I now belong.

"It is this acceptance and the feeling of belonging that has helped me lay my demons to rest. This is really the first time that I feel confident and blessed."

She added: "It's taken a while to learn how to be happy and enjoy what I am doing. I was so scared it would all come to an abrupt ending that I stopped looking at the positive and enjoying the moments and focused too much on the negatives."

Susan recently told how she was searching for Mr Right.

"We all like the idea of sharing our lives with someone who is going to protect and look after us. I'm on my own quite a lot and that special person hasn't come along yet," she said.
