Swift up for three CMT awards

Taylor Swift's song for hit teen movie The Hunger Games has been nominated for video of the year at the Country Music Television Music Awards.

Carrie Underwood has the most CMT Music Award nominations this year, with five, Miranda Lambert has four and Taylor leads a group of stars with three apiece.

Carrie's Good Girl, Miranda's Over You and Taylor's collaboration with The Civil Wars on The Hunger Games soundtrack, Safe & Sound, are among 10 nominees for video of the year.

Nominations for the CMT awards were announced on the Today show.

Other artists with three nominations include Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Thompson Square and The Civil Wars.

Fans can vote for their favourite on the network's website until June 4th 2012. The 11th annual CMT ceremony will air live on June 6.
