The Darkness play Ulster Hall on reunion tour
Glam rockers The Darkness will be playing Belfast’s Ulster Hall as part of their reunion tour.
The tour will be the band’s first since 2005.
The Darkness, led by gangly frontman Justin Hawkins, famed for his high-pitched wails, came to prominence with the release of their debut album Permission To Land in 2003.
Backed by hit singles such as, I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Growing On Me, the album sold over 1,200,000.
After extensive touring and a second album which wasn’t as well received, the band broke up and Hawkins was treated for alcohol and drug problems.
Now they have reformed and will play the Ulster Hall on Monday, December 5. Tickets will go on sale next Friday.
