The Shires coming to Harvest Country Music Festival

The Shires are the latest act to be added to the Harvest County Music Festival.

The country-pop duo will perform at Westport House, Co Mayo on Saturday, August 26 and Enniskillen Airport on Sunday, August 27.

The Shires consist of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, who have made huge waves in the country music scene these past 18 months.

Their second album My Universe became the fastest-selling UK country album in history when it was released in October 2016.

The Shires' appearance at the Festival comes as Knoxville singer Logan Brill, Texan Jarrod Dickenson and All Our Exes Live In Texas were added to the line-up this week.

Headliners for the event have already been confirmed as US star Miranda Lambert and fan favourite Nathan Carter.

The Harvest Country Music Festival will feature over 40 music acts, and there will also be dedicated dancing sessions, a food village, boutique camping and campervan facilities.

As well as artists from USA and the UK, the Festival will also feature homegrown talent including Cliona Hagan, Pete Kennedy, Hurricane Highway, Ward Thomas and Jake Carter.
