Tom Jones released from hospital
Sir Tom Jones has been discharged from hospital after being treated for "severe dehydration".
The 71-year-old singer was rushed to Princess Grace Hospital in Monte Carlo at the weekend, forcing him to cancel his concert in Monaco, the last show of his three-month tour.
A message posted on his website said: "Sir Tom was released from hospital and is now in very good health."
He added: "A big thank you to all for your concern, your messages and wishes have been very thoughtful."
The It's Not Unusual star had been expected to perform at the Salle des Etoiles as part of Monte Carlo's Sporting Summer Festival on Saturday night
In a statement on his website, the Welsh singer expressed "deep regrets" and apologised to fans.
Dismissing suggestions the star had suffered from a heart problem, it went on: "Sir Tom wants to relay his deep regrets for causing disappointment and inconvenience to all who would have come to enjoy his show.
"He thanks everyone for their understanding and support and hopes to see the fans in Monte Carlo again soon."
