Following the release of their latest album, A Real Labour Of Love, UB40 featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey have announced a number of tour dates, including shows in Belfast and Dublin.

To mark their 40 years in the music business, the band will take to the stage at the SSE Arena in Belfast on March 22 2019.

They will also perform at the 3Arena in Dublin on March 23.

Tickets for the A Real Labour Of Love 40th Anniversary Tour dates go on sale from Friday, May 4 at 9am.

The legendary reggae band will be celebrating 40 years with a greatest hits set that features global smashes including Red Red Wine, Cherry Oh Baby, Rat In Mi Kitchen and Kingston Town.

Ali, Astro & Mickey will also be joined on-stage by their eight-piece reggae band.

The new album debuted at No.2 in the charts, the band’s highest chart entry since 1993’s No.1 Promises And Lies.

It was Radio 2’s Album Of The Week and received 4-star reviews with critics saying it “crackles with the energy of their classics.”

The next single to be taken from the record is How Could I Leave,the follow-up to their Radio 2 playlisted single She Loves Me Now.
