The Wanted have been branded the "coolest boys in music" by Victoria Beckham after performing at her son's birthday party.

Romeo is a huge fan of the band, so Posh Spice made his tenth birthday one to remember by persuading Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes to perform at his party in Los Angeles.

Victoria showed her thanks by tweeting: "The @thewantedmusic boys, the coolest boys in music!!! Thank you for making Romeo's 10th birthday so special!!!! X vb."

Siva replied: "Absolute pleasure x."

Romeo was given another birthday treat by being LA Galaxy's mascot for their 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps - a match which saw his footballer dad David Beckham score a goal from a free kick.

Victoria and David's sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are big fans of the Wanted and the boyband have previously been invited to share David's box to watch LA Galaxy games alongside his family and close friends.

Posh previously revealed the lads had taught Brooklyn to play the guitar.
