Northern Ireland music festival Stendhal submissions now open

Stendhal Festival applications are now open.
Stendhal Festival applications are now open.

Stendhal Festival has announced that it is now taking submissions from artists who wish to perform at the 2019 installment of the largest independent music and arts festival in Northern Ireland.

Acts have until January 23, 2019 to submit their applications to play at Stendhal Festival this summer.

Festival Director Ross Parkhill says that the submission process is one of the aspects of the festival he looks forward to the most every year.

“Every year we get hundreds and hundreds of submissions, which means that we get to discover hundreds of new bands, artists and performers as we look to provide a platform for the best new acts around the UK and Ireland," said Parkhill.

“We love to see as wide a variety of acts apply as possible, from acts that have just started up to more established acts who haven’t played the festival yet, even acts that have played before and want to come back, we want to hear from everyone and anyone that can make our programme as good as it possibly can be.”

The festival has in the past welcomed acts such as Ryan McMullan, SOAK, The Woodburning Savages, ROE and Joshua Burnside to its stage.

Stendhal Festival takes place on August 15-17, 2019 in Limavady at Ballymully Cottage Farm.

Submissions for all types of performers can be made at where Early Bird tickets to the event are also on sale now.
