Pop/Dance Music 25/6/10

By Patric Baird

Unicorn Kid, Auntie Annie's, Belfast, Tomorrow, 6pm

A mere 18 years old, Unicorn Kid (real name Oli Sabin) began producing music as a hobby at the age of 15. He played his first gig in early 2008 in a tiny city centre bar in Edinburgh, but within a few months, thanks to the internet, had gained fans all over the world.

He recently signed with Ministry of Sound and EMI and decided to make music his full-time career.

He's currently working on his debut album and will be previewing tracks at Auntie Annie's tomorrow night, with Londonderry indie-poppers The Wonder Villains joining Strabane's Chipzel for support duties. The latter compose music using only a Gameboy and a special program.

It's an over-14s show with an early door time of 6pm and admission is a pocket money-friendly £7. See .
