Tennent's Vital adds Galantis to Day 2 line-up with Avicii and Jess Glynne
Tennent's Vital already announced Avicii to their line-up this week - and now the Swedish dance vibe has gotten stronger as Galantis has been added.
Dance music fans will be making sure they have a ticket for Friday August 26 at Boucher Road playing fields festival.
Stockholm-based Galantis has been signed to add still more power to the bill.
Coming together as Galantis, music mega-names Christian Karlsson, aka Bloodshy, and Linus Eklöw, aka Style of Eye, changed the plot for what’s hot and current in electronic dance music.
They bring an audio/visual experience to live performance so Belfast crowds can be prepared for something that will set Boucher Road Playing Fields rocking.
In 2015 Galantis was named Best Breakthrough Artist at the 30th International Dance Music Awards.
They are best known for ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ and ‘Runaway (U&I)’ which was nominated for Best Dance Recording for the 2016 Grammy Awards.
Releasing a song a week in advance of their debut self-titled EP which went to number four on the iTunes dance chart, it only took days for the tracks to cross 100,000 plays. Galantis are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut, full-length album.
