Aliona Strictly return 'in 2 weeks'
Injured Strictly Come Dancing star Aliona Vilani has said she expects to return to the dancefloor in a fortnight.
The professional dancer missed her first live show on Saturday night after hurting her ankle which left celebrity partner Johnny Ball dancing with stand-in Iveta Lukosiute.
But Aliona said doctors reckon she will be back on her feet for the BBC1 show in two weeks.
In a message on Twitter, she said: "So after evaluating my MRI the doctor said I'll be able to go back to boogying in 2 weeks time."
Aliona won last year's contest with McFly star Harry Judd but she may have an uphill task in this year's contest.
Johnny and Iveta picked up the lowest score of the night on Saturday's show for their cha cha cha performed to The Beatles' Drive My Car.
However, Victoria Pendleton's bungled steps in Friday's edition put her one place lower on the leaderboard.
