Amy Childs reveals she's expecting a baby girl

Amy Childs is "in shock" she's having a little girl as she was convinced her unborn child was a boy.

Amy Childs has revealed she is expecting a baby girl with her boyfriend Bradley Wright.

The Only Way is Essex star has let slip few details on her unborn child since announcing her pregnancy in October (16), but on Monday (13Mar17) the 26-year-old took to Twitter to confirm a mini-me is on the way.

"Yes the news is out !! SO happy to tell you all that I'm having a Baby Girl (heart emojis) Brad and I can't wait to meet our little princess,” she posted to her followers alongside a photo of her celebrating her baby shower.

"My baby shower CAKE," she captioned another shot of an adorable pink cake decorated with little shoes and baby legs made out of icing, reading 'Amy's Baby Shower' above a bow. "Thank you @Eatsweetcheeks you are the best!!!"

She also opened up about the exciting news during an interview with the new issue of OK! Magazine, in which she originally posed for a photoshoot to reveal that she was to become a mum last year (16). After being told by a psychic that she was going to have a boy, and even her instincts giving her the impression that a little man was on the way, Amy couldn't believe it when a Harley Street doctor revealed she's having a girl.

"I even ordered a boy Moncler baby bag because I was so convinced. But it's a girl!" the flame-haired beauty quipped of her little one, who is due in early May (17).

Amy and Bradley began dating back in 2014 after meeting at a pub in Essex and the reality star previously admitted they had been wanting a baby for a long time, having first started trying just eight months into their relationship.

Fans can keep up to date with Amy’s baby journey via social media and her column in new! magazine, which she often uses as a way to share her experiences.

"I'm still not sleeping much and feel knackered,” she recently wrote. "I've also been having the odd sharp pain through my tummy."
