Anna Friel would like another child

Anna Friel has said she would love to have more children one day.

The actress, who turns 38 this year, denied a report that she was freezing her eggs, telling InStyle magazine: "I don't even know how you do that."

But the mother-of-one, who is in a relationship with actor Rhys Ifans, added: "I would one day eventually love another child if I am blessed that way. I hope I will be."

Anna hinted that she would not rule out plastic surgery in future, saying "never say never to anything", and admitted trying a vampire facial, a procedure that involves injecting a small amount of blood from your arm into your face, "only once" .

The star, who has an eight-year-old daughter Gracie, with actor David Thewlis, told the mag: "As you get older you start thinking, 'I feel better on the inside so why does everything else have to happen the other way round?!'.''

She said that "humour, absolute bright spirit and fever, intelligence, just a love for life", attracted her to Notting Hill star Rhys and that she remained on good terms with David, who she was with for 10 years.

"We're best friends. He lives in Windsor, too. Yep, it's all very unconventional. He's happy and settled with a lovely French lady," she told the mag.

Anna, who is set to star in US TV drama Odyssey, said that she had learnt to "think more like a man" when she gets turned down for a job.

"Women are much more self-critical, they'll go 'oh I did this wrong and that wrong '. Men just go 'this happened and that's that'."

Anna admitted that she could "do with putting on a few pounds" but denied reports that she went on an extreme Master Cleanse diet, saying: "What kind of example does that set for young girls? I was really p***ed off about that."
