Audrina: I learnt from The Hills
Audrina Patridge has found The Hills to be a "learning experience".
The Californian actress, who shot to fame in the MTV reality show, credits it for teaching her about relationships and friendships - and for encouraging her to "find herself".
"It's all been a learning experience, I've been through so much and it's all been captured on camera - I've had relationships and friendships, different jobs and moving," she said.
Audrina said she'd love to revisit the past four years one day.
"It's nice because I've got all that footage on DVDs. It's like a diary. One day I can look back and watch it," she said.
"There were a lot of emotional moments. I think Lauren [Conrad] and I had a couple, and my best moment was when I realised Justin [Bobby, ex-boyfriend] was bad for me and I moved on. I was finally content with that decision, I was strong and it was empowering. I could show my fans you don't have to be with someone like that."
Audrina claimed Lauren's leaving changed the show's atmosphere.
"The Hills are known for drama and relationships, and fighting and making up. Kristin [Cavallari] definitely gave it more spice and drama because she's very feisty and she'll do whatever to get people riled up," she revealed.
"Lauren's more of a wise friend - she was always very calm and very good all the time - so Lauren's leaving gave it a whole different presence. There's definitely more drama and more fighting going on."
:: The final episode of The Hills will air on MTV UK on August 15 at 9pm.
