Baby girl for Corrie's Alan Halsall
Alan Halsall and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson have welcomed a baby girl.
The Coronation Street actor posted a message on Twitter at the weekend to announce their new arrival.
He wrote: "Lucy-Jo & I are delighted to announce the arrival of our little girl born this morning. Mother & baby are home with a very proud Father."
Alan and Lucy-Jo have not revealed the name of their baby, who is their first child.
Several of Alan's Corrie co-stars have posted messages of congratulations.
Catherine Tyldesley tweeted: "@alanhalsall ohhh darling!!! I'm so thrilled for you guys!!! Well done. Now go lap up every second!! Hugs xx."
Natalie Gumede said: "@alanhalsall: Welcome #babyhalsall best news EVER!! X x x."
Alan and Lucy-Jo met on the set of Coronation Street and tied the knot in 2009.
